Introduction to the Summer School 2008 |
To our knowledge, the Ewiem Nimide Summer School in 2008 was the first of its kind held in West
Africa. The activity demonstrated that holding the Summer School in Ghana, we were able
to attract an excellent number of staff and students from all around the world. The participants
found the activity to be challenging and enjoyable and most would welcome the opportunity to
attend in a future year.
Detailed and constructive comments have been received from students and
staff. Overall the responses reflect a good level of satisfaction with the event. Staff and students all learned a lot from
working closely together for 2 weeks. We have made a lot of new friends and built some
partnerships which we hope will last for many years to come.
