The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana, in collaboration with ICTP, and the universities of Reading and Leeds and GMet will organize the 2nd Ewiem Nimdie International Summer School, at KNUST from 19 July to 31 July 2010.

Following the successful organization of the first summer school in 2008, this summer school aims at bringing students, researchers and forecasters from Africa and around the world to participate in field studies and lectures and practical classes in
An important aspect of the Summer School is the ample time allotted to discussions/interactions and oral/poster presentations from participants.
